What You'll Do
As an Oracle SCM Consultant, your core responsibility is to bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution.
- Aid teams in shaping solutions from initial problem definition to final deployment.
- Research alternatives through literature surveys and vendor evaluations.
- Validate technical concepts by building tangible Proof of Concepts (POCs).
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams daily.
- Create detailed requirement specifications and define “to-be” business processes.
- Draft comprehensive functional designs based on specific client requirements.
- Configure solutions directly onto Oracle products.
- Diagnose the root causes of issues, seek necessary clarifications, and identify viable solution alternatives.
- Create accurate functional documentation and write robust test cases.
- Contribute to broader unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality solutions.

What You Need (Requirements)
To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following educational, functional, and technical criteria.
- Hold a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree (BE, BTech, BSc, BCom, BCA, MBA, ME, MTech, MSc, MCom, or MCA).
- Possess 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of Oracle ERP/EBS or Oracle Fusion applications, including application architecture and business process flows.
- Possess functional knowledge in one or more areas: Order Management (OM), Inventory (INV), Purchasing/Procurement (PO), Work in Process (WIP), and Bill Of Materials (BOM).
- Have familiarity with SQL basics for data validation and analysis.
- Understand basic reporting, interfaces, and data migration processes within Oracle ERP environments.
- Have prior experience working in Application Maintenance & Support (AMS) or exposure to Oracle implementation, support, or enhancement projects.
- Prior experience as an end-user of Oracle ERP/EBS/Fusion (highly preferred).
- Hold an Oracle certification (EBS/Fusion) and specific expertise in Oracle Order Management or Inventory Management Cloud (preferred).
