What You'll Do
As a Network Systems Engineer at Cisco, your core responsibilities will include:

Designing, developing, testing, and deploying Data Center network capabilities within the global Cisco Data Center Network.

What You Need (Requirements)
To qualify for this position, candidates must demonstrate the following skills, education, and experience:

Bachelor of Engineering or Technology degree with at least 5+ years of experience designing, deploying, operating, and managing scalable Data Center network infrastructures.

Strong hands-on expertise in networking technologies, including Routing, Switching, Nexus OS, VPC, VDC, VLAN, VXLAN, and BGP.

Familiarity with DevOps principles, Agile practices, and handling incident/change management.

Experience with SONiC NoS, including basic configuration (CLI and config_db.json), network troubleshooting, and QoS monitoring (particularly for RoCEv2).

Preferred certifications such as CCNP or CCIE/DE.

Desirable experience with L3 Fabrics, Nvidia, Linux networking, Cisco Firepower firewalls (FTD/FMC), and scripting/monitoring tools like Python, Prometheus, Splunk, and Grafana.
