What You'll Do
As a Manual Software Test Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting comprehensive test scenarios tailored to domain-specific workflows.
- Create detailed test plans, test strategies, and test scenarios tailored to domain-specific business processes.
- Develop comprehensive test cases (functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end) aligned with domain logic.
- Prepare and maintain test data based on business rules, domain models, and edge cases.
- Complete manual test cases, validate functional behavior, and ensure compliance with domain requirements.
- Perform smoke, functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Validate data mapping, domain rules, calculations, and workflow processing across modules.
- Identify, log, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and domain-specific context.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure issues are understood and fixed accurately, retesting defect fixes to ensure no domain workflow is impacted.
- Document test results, status reports, user-facing test evidence, and maintain test artifacts in test management tools.
- Provide daily/weekly test execution reports for partners and provide UAT support to business teams.
- Work closely with domain SMEs, Product Owners, and QA leads, participating in requirement walkthroughs, design reviews, and sprint ceremonies.
- Suggest improvements to test processes, identify test case redundancies, and optimize regression suites.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing through domain-specific documentation, training, and supporting the automation team with high-quality test scenarios.
- Stay updated on domain trends, industry regulations, new system enhancements, testing tools, and standard processes.

What You Need (Requirements)
To qualify for this Senior Test Engineer role, you must meet the following educational, technical, and experience criteria.
- B. Tech in Electrooptical and Electronics Engineering.
- 3 to 8 years of total experience in Software Development, manual testing, and Test Automation.
- Proven ability in the design and execution of test cases.
- Knowledge of Industrial Automation and EV charger domains is preferable.
- Exposure to Testing Methodologies, test automation tools, and awareness of the Test Execution Process.
- Scripting language experience utilizing Python and JavaScript.
- Exposure to the Software development lifecycle (SDLC) and defect management life cycle.
- Exposure to Requirement Engineering, including requirement and test coverage.
- Experience interacting directly with electronic devices.
- Experience using virtual machines including VMware, Hyper-V, or Oracle VirtualBox.
- Knowledge of Server Operating Systems and web servers.
- Understanding of REST API, OPC/UA, Client/Server Architecture, and Distributed Architecture.
- Know-how regarding network vulnerability detection and security testing.
