What You'll Do
As a FullStack Developer at Standard Chartered, your daily responsibilities will span the entire software development lifecycle within a collaborative Agile environment.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable design and production-ready code.
- Deliver development tasks comprising Java, SpringBoot, and React UI development.
- Architect dynamic front-end web applications and design secure backend services, microservices, and databases to support core functionality.
- Design user interactions on web pages and ensure that APIs meet technical specifications and consumer needs.
- Execute design processes, participate in Proof of Concepts (POCs), and ensure adherence to secure coding and CI/CD best practices.
- Embed high standards of ethics, mitigate risks, and mentor junior associates to foster an inclusive team culture.

What You Need (Requirements)
Candidates must possess a solid educational foundation, versatile technical expertise, and a strong background in both client-side and server-side architecture.
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Deep experience in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript, alongside proficiency with frameworks such as React JS, Angular JS, and Amber.
- Strong command over server-side programming languages, primarily Java, alongside knowledge of Python and PHP.
- Familiarity with enterprise frameworks including SpringBoot, Spring, Hibernate, iBATIS, and JPA.
- Hands-on experience with modern database technologies including Oracle, Postgres, and MongoDB.
- Proven ability in creating Microservices, designing APIs, and executing CI/CD pipelines.
