As a Software Engineer on the Database Engine team at SingleStore, your day-to-day responsibilities will span the entire software development lifecycle to drive core database technology forward.
- Write high-quality, memory-safe code for core database features across continuous release cycles.
- Utilize advanced performance acceleration techniques such as SIMD and LLVM codeGen to drastically improve SQL query execution speeds.
- Write sophisticated search and costing modules within the query optimizer to determine efficient execution paths for complex queries.
- Improve the fault tolerance and reliability of database clusters to ensure high availability under extreme loads.
- Develop brand-new architectural capabilities for LLMs and vector indexing.
- Participate in rigorous testing, debugging, and production deployments.

What You Need (Requirements)
Candidates must possess rigorous computer science fundamentals, strong systems programming skills, and a relevant educational background.
