Career Advice for Aspiring Analysts
For fresh BCA graduates applying to tech-driven audit roles, your resume needs to reflect a strong balance of technical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Make sure to clearly highlight any academic projects, internships, or certifications where you utilized SQL, Power BI, Python, or automation tools like UiPath. Even foundational knowledge in AI/ML models will help your application stand out in today’s data-centric hiring landscape.
When preparing for your interview, remember that communication is just as important as your coding skills. EY specifically looks for candidates who are confident speakers, agile, curious, and capable of collaborating with diverse teams. Be prepared to share examples of how you manage multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain a high attention to detail.
Finally, don’t wait until you feel “100% ready” to apply. If you meet the core BCA eligibility and have a strong willingness to learn, adapt, and occasionally travel for your work, take the leap. A positive attitude and strategic thinking often outweigh a perfect technical checklist for entry-level roles.
