What You'll Do
As an Applied AI Engineer at Clueso, your core focus will be turning fast-moving LLM and vLLM capabilities into stable, production-ready applications.
- Design agent architectures that seamlessly combine AI models with deterministic systems.
- Translate fuzzy user intent into structured, reliable actions that assist users directly inside workflows.
- Evaluate new models as they ship, rethinking and rebuilding pipelines when technical capabilities change.
- Debug and improve AI systems based on real user behavior rather than static benchmarks.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ship complex AI features end-to-end at scale.

What You Need (Requirements)
Candidates must possess exceptionally sharp problem-solving skills, strong software engineering fundamentals, and proven production experience with modern AI models.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with modern AI systems, LLMs, or applied machine learning.
- Prior experience operating LLMs or vLLMs in non-trivial systems.
- Ability to write clean, debuggable code and operate comfortably in ambiguous problem spaces with incomplete information.
- Strong capability to make smart tradeoffs between AI-driven and deterministic approaches.
- Preferred experience building AI agents, copilots, or workflow automation tools.
- Familiarity with the evaluation, reliability, and failure modes of LLM systems, alongside experience with multimodal models including text, vision, audio, and video.
