What You'll Do
As a Software Engineer 2 at JLL, you will own the end-to-end development of critical web applications across both frontend and backend layers.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and design teams to translate complex business requirements into robust, high-performance technical solutions.
- Design and develop responsive user interfaces utilizing React, TypeScript, Hooks, and Redux.
- Build and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement scalable, resilient, and highly maintainable microservices architectures.
- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure application stability and support “shift-left” quality practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex production issues across both frontend and backend components.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, peer code reviews, and technical documentation.

What You Need (Requirements)
Candidates must possess strong full stack engineering expertise, solid computer science fundamentals, and practical cloud experience.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or possess equivalent practical experience).
- Bring 3 to 6 years of professional full stack development experience.
- Demonstrate strong, hands-on experience building modern UIs with React, TypeScript, Hooks, and Redux (familiarity with Angular or Next.js is also acceptable).
- Show deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot for building backend services, along with a proven track record of designing RESTful APIs and managing microservices.
